Er, you'd think I was cold or something.

Because I look like SATC 3 - Beatches visit the Arctic. I'm almost certain, in that one, Carrie has some kind of misunderstanding and falls out with Big. Maybe Jack Berger reappears. Samantha will most likely shag someone, and Miranda and Charlotte will have some interesting issues go down but they will ultimately be played down in favour of Carrie's self indulgent and ridiculous antics. To clarify, I love Sex and the City (seriously, all I want in life is time to breakfast with my girlfriends before swanning off to my awesome, late starting and short houred job) but what was film 2 all about? Why did they have to go to Abu Dhabi? Why did Stanford and Anthony get together? What the b'jesus was Carrie's issue with Big? And as if Aiden would just happen to be in that souk. It was just odd. Anyway, in SATC 3, I'll be some kind of odd extra that's followed them over from New York in my purdy dress and high heels but then, realising the chilling temperatures of the Arctic (and without the need for full on protection, given the likely ridiculousness of the plot), I bung on an aviator and skin a nearby bear for a hat. My hat is faux fur BTW.

Hat: Primark, Aviator: H&M, Dress: Judy's Affordable Vintage Fair, Shoes: Irregular Choice @ Schuh
The shoes are shoes # 47 (so close to 50!). They're Irregular Choice I got at Schuh a few years ago. For anyone new (Hello guys! Thanks ever so much for checking out my wee blog. I'm totally flattered 'n' that. We should go for a scone and have a chat) who isn't aware of my shoe wearing challenge (ha! As if wearing shoes is a challenge!), I am wearing all of my shoes over the course of a year (I have until the end of August). Any I don't manage to wear I have to sell or donate to charity. It should be doable but there are in the region of a hundred pairs and December was a total write off as I pretty much only wore my big stompy Docs on account of the snow! Darn snow! Anyway, ladies and dude (I think I have one man follower out there. Much love to ya!), feast your eyes...

I'm goan catch me a bear - aar!!

It's the furry hat and checked shirt, innit. Something about them says that I'm gonna go catch a bear or wrestle a squirrel or something. My friend, after seeing my checked shirt on t'blog before, had a dream that I told her I only bought a checked shirt to try to bag a King of Leon (none in particular, just A King of Leon). Now, to my mind, this seems like a perfectly good reason to buy a checked shirt and I feel that if sales assistants used that line, more checked shirts would be sold the world over. However, I simply bought mine because a) I like it and, b) I'm apparently regressing back to my checked shirt and leggings wearing 14 year old self. These days I wear a dress too though as I no longer have my 14 year old self's thighs. Admittedly they were still on the ample side back then. Anyway, here's the bear catching look in all it's glory:

As you can see, there's also a definite bag lady vibe going down here too (a multi-faceted look, this one. Bag lady, bear hunter and, I'm putting it out there, I reckon I could walk onto your average trailer park and not an eyelid would be batted.). It's because it's been so FREAKIN' cold that I've needed the layerage.

T-shirt and (faux fur) hat: Primark
Denim dress: New Look
Shirt: H&M
Cardi: Toppers or Primark
Leggings: Uniqlo
Shoes: Topshop
Necklace: Lady Luck Rules OK

In the word of Chandler Bing, "Could I be wearing any more clothes?!"

Shoes # 36 are, as above, from Topshop. From about 3 years ago when their shoes suddenly got awesome but before they became almost entirely unaffordable. I feel head over heels (actually, I really have fallen off these shoes too and I did myself a proper ankle mischief. I had to cancel the gym and everyfink. Satan's minions at work.) in love with them on first sight. The grainy cream leather, the chunky wooden heel, the gorgeous frill up the front, the girlie styling. They're just dreamy. Dream-a-licious!

I don't Bet-Lynch it!

So, me and Bet Lynch well pissed ourselves with glee when we heard that leopard print is the word on the lips and print on the backs of the fabulous amongst us this a/w. I'll be honest, I'm a wee bit torn - should I be glad to have a huge amount of the stuff to choose from, in the way that Alex James picked from groupies and models in Blur's heyday, or should I be miffed that everyone's wearing me and Bet's numero uno print of choice? Hmm, I think I'll go with the Alex option and pick up all I can - grrr!

Here's my pick of some of the new and coming soon leopard lovelies getting me salivating...

I L-O-V-E this hat that's on the accessories page of the Toppers website. Shame said retailer didn't think it was worth replying to lil ol' me when I tweeted to ask them when it'd be in...SHAME on you Topshop!

Now being, as Gok would put it, a juicy pear, I'm a little scared of jumpsuits. All too often if it fits on top, it's straining around my ample behind in a most unflattering fashion. However, this little lovely is wide legged (Gok would approve) and, therefore, may skim said glorious behind. I think I just talked myself into buying it...hello, Miss Selfridge, you got something I want!

These are my absolute must have boots for the season. They're due into schuh very soon and I officially cannot wait! They're Clarks and that's classic, innit? But they're also leopardy and hairy and there's my twist. I shall be watching the website in hot anticipation waiting for them to appear. Oh, can you just picture Richard Ashcroft in a pair of these...

It's a dress, it's leopard, it looks cosy, it'll look cute right through winter. What's not to love? Warehouse, if you're interested.
Ouch! These are amazing! Killer heel (I used to live in Middlesbrough and some guy was actually stabbed to death with a white stiletto. FACT - heels can actually be killer!), leopard (obv), stomping platform and perfectly sized peep toe. Topshop are selling these ones...

For now, it's over and out from Bet and I - we're off to the rovers for a bevvie. However, I'll be back with a run down of all the leopard print loveliness I already have that I'll be rocking/resurrecting this a/w!
